new job

Well this is Dave's second week in a new job. His dad got him on where he works which is a trucking company, he is actually working on the dock, not in a truck just yet. His plans are still to get a CDL license but in the meantime he took this position. My job is going really good for me also, come next year I'll be in a salary position, YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! So things are looking good.
Ryanne is getting ready for cheerleading once again. We had the call out meeting last week. She will start conditioning next week and tryouts will be the week after that.

Change and Support

So things are really changing around me. Dave quit his job yesterday! Wow! I do not blame him, his boss is intolerable. He is now studying the CDL license and is working on becoming a truck driver. I am really proud of him and am being very supportive. I believe it is important for a person to have alot of support as they make major changes in their lives.
My sister has also finally gotten herself a place of her own so I am currently supporting her in her move also. I hate that she will be living alone, she is a very depressed person (rightfully so) and it scares me for her to be alone too much. But this is a baby step in her life as she is trying to get her act together. We will see how it turns out :)

Last night I had so much fun, as I was telling you in an earlier post my favorite author was coming to BroadRipple for a book signing. Well that was last night, when me and Renee finally found the place, we went in and got our books and they had a tent set up out behind the book store. So we proceded to the tent and to our suprise they were serving wine. So we sat and sipped on some wine and and talked and laughed while we waited for Jill to appear.

2008

Well it's the beginning of a new year, and I feel like my family is off to a very good start. We love our new house, and work is going good. The girls are doing great. There isn't really anything new going on right now. Aerial has quit her job at Rally's, she absolutely hated it. She is trying to get a job at K-mart. I really think she would do much better at a job in retail than fast food. I'm not to concerned about it, she doesn't have any bills yet so that's a good thing. I'm also in no hurry for her to get a car either. She is a very irresponsible 17 year old so no rush there. Alot of responsibility comes with a car and I'm not sure she's ready for that. Other than that I don't have anything new to post so I'll get back to it when I do.
