Why do People suck????????

So Saturday night I went to see One Under at the mousetrap. I am so glad you made it to the show Allison. Had me a great time with good friends. Spent time before the show laughing and hanging around a fire at Matt and Liz's house while Matt grilled us all some burgers. Went to the show and my best friend Renee showed up for a little while. Got to see Eric and Abby, they were also at Matt's before the show. It was nice all hanging out together. All around it was a good time, all except Johnny the percussionist not being there due to his daughter being born. Some excuse huh??? What about the fans?? haha... just kidding I'll let him slide this time. So we got back to Matt's after the show and played a game called Apples to Apples which I've got to go out and buy. That is such a fun game. If you haven't played it you should check it out. We ended up going to bed somewhere around 4:30am or 5:00am. I woke up around 8:30am, I don't think I actually got up until about 9:00am that coffee smell was just way to tempting so I had to have me some. Me and Dave, Matt and Liz, and Ryan all went to Indy's on the west side for some breakfast, before our breakfast arrived there was some jelly trading that included a Roly Poly (them bugs that curl up) just so you know we ate out on the patio, so's we could smoke. After this we ran back to Matt's (I forgot my purse) said our goodbye's to everyone and headed home. I knew when I got home first thing I was going to do was nap. Allison had the right idea, she stayed in bed and slept while we had breakfast. I got up from my nap and took a shower and started laundry. I was on my way to pick up Aerial from her friends when my cell rang:

It was my baby and she was hysterical, scared me half to death, I truely thought she was hurt really bad. Her friend's mom, Shannon got on the phone and told me I needed to come right there. So of course I deteored and headed straight to her, it seemed like it took me forever. When I get there Ryanne is so scared she's shaking and crying. They procede to tell me some asshole in a white cadillac with tinted windows had chased them for probably 5 streets or more. He had pulled up beside Ryanne and Krista and asked them if they needed a ride. Of course they said NO and took off running. This was not enough for him, he started pursuing them the whole time they are running through yards, over fences, through creeks, crying and scared to death. He is yelling "you are all alone now girls, there is no one around to help". Now you tell me what kind of creep could do this. He had to have known they were petrified. Krista's dad had already went out chasing the car and also another friend by the time I had arrived. They were able to get the license plate number and a good description. We called the cops, just to find out that if the girls were not touched there wasn't a whole lot that could be done. WHAT? (this was all I could think) This isn't like stalking or something? So they can actually traumatize a child but unless they touch them or expose theirselves to them, you can't do anything. The cop did come and take a report. The plates were registered to someone in an area not far from our neighborhood in a place called "haughville" which is basically the slums. So the cop was suppose to go to that address to check it out. He told us from his experience alot of the time they won't answer the door I called and left him a message yesterday to find out if they had talked to them. Of course, I did not get a phone call back. This truely sucks, I feel helpless while my daughter is traumatized. Poor thing is afraid to walk down to the bus stop now. I have to have my husband, her step-father take her. Now you all know had any of us gotten our hands on these perverts we'd have been the ones in jail for battery, but yet they are still out driving around probably scaring the shit out of small girls. I'm very frustrated that this world is soooo f***ed that my daughter and her friend can not walk to the park to play for fear they will be taken. I think I'm going to go buy her some mace and the next MF'er that messes with her will get a face full of that, then lets see how well he can chase her. Sometimes the law just does not seem to work right for victims. What do you think?

St. Patrick's Day w/ Ekoostik Hookah

I started my St. Patricks day off by taking my daughter (actually I'm lying cuz Shannon took them to the gym, her and Krista that is) to the gym to practice her back tucks, just to pick her up with her ankle killing her AGAIN. Which really sucks because she is in the middle of conditioning for tryouts for the high school cheerleading team. Anyway while she was at the gym I went to my one of my best friends, Lenice's house to do her daughters hair. This time I bought a relaxer and I am just so proud of my self how well her hair turned out see for yourself:

And then we added the green ribbon for St. Patrick's Day:

She loved it. I was soo proud. So if anyone knows how often I can you the relaxer stuff on her hair please let me know.

After this task was completed I picked Ryanne, Krista, and Ashley up at the gym and took Krista and Ashley home then we headed to my house so I could get cute for the big concert we were about to go to that night.

Me and Dave loaded the kids and doggie up in the car and dropped them off in Franklin. Ryan and Andrew followed us there and left there truck at Dave's mom and Dad's and we all piled into my car and made our way to Covington, KY, Madison Theatre to see our favorite band Ekoostik Hookah.

It was an awesome show and during the second set the smoke alarm went off which was my perfect opportunity to play paparazzi, which by the way I am very good at. So I got my picture with every member of the band. How Awesome.

Ok now that I got that out of the way cuz you know I was way more excited about that we'll go back to the beginning.

Here's me, Dave, Andrew, and Ryan before the concert. We went to hang out at a little bar called the Backstage Cafe. We got there about 2 hours before the show.

Ok so I didn't have any green on so I carried around this Care Bear in my pocket that was the best I could do.

And here are a few of my better concert pics.

As you can see by this time of the night Cliff was wearing Allison's hat. That was pretty cool.

It was a really AWESOME show, look like I'll have to wait until Hookahville to see them again.

HAPPY 70TH ANNIVESARY TO LAWRENCE AND EDNA WILLIS

Ok I think this is absolutely amazing to know and be related to two people who have been married this long and are still living and doing well I might add. We have a 70th anniversary party to go to this Sunday and I just know this will make me cry. They are having a walkthrough I am told. I really don't know much about it, but I assume they will be showing videos and pictures of their lives together.

OK this one isn't very nice for this blog but I just think it's funny:

Follow up from the weekend.......

OK so Friday night was good. I won the one game of Texas Hold'em that we played. I swear I'm getting really good at this. One day I would like to enter a tournament with about 60 people. I absolutely love playing. We always play with the same people. There is about 9 of us. At the end of the game I was heads up with Uncle Chuck (not really my uncle) we went back and forth for about 40 minutes and I finally won with pocket 7's and how weird that he had pocket 6's. But it was my game. Then his real neice is, you know the kind of girl who thinks she can beat everyone up, she carries a chip on her shoulder. She actually said "You should give Chuck his ante back" WHAT, WHAT, WHAT????? (Stan's mom, Southpark) Now I really don't know why she would say this but I was somewhat offended because of all the times we've played, no one has ever given me my ante back when I lost. It's only $5.00. So that's what I said to her. Chuck was cool with it, I won fair and square! It still kinda bothers me though. Dave says he just thinks she's jealous cause she never wins. hehe
Saturday morning I got up and took Aerial to the License Branch to get her learner's permit now this is her 3rd attempt at it. She failed once again. I am not too upset by this as I have stated before, I am not in any hurry for her to get her permit as I have stated before. Poor kid. Maybe next time.
Then I took Ryanne to the gym to practice for her cheerleading tryouts. While she was at the gym I went to my good friend Lenice's house to do her daughter, Corrina's hair. This is Corrina:

I love her name CORRINA, there is an awesome song by Ratdog (Bob Weir) Corrina, Corrina which I have made them listen too over and over. Corrina is only 7yrs. old. She is bi-racial and I've been doing her hair since she was about 3yr. old. I don't think her mom likes to mess with it. It is really curly and difficult, I swear that kid has about 3 times the amount of hair that I have. I feel sorry for the beautician that gets ahold of her. I have chopped on it soooo much. I really don't mind doing it. Besides she is getting so much more tolerant that she used to be, when she was younger I swear I wanted to take that brush and swat her upside her head with it. But nowadays she actually loves when it's done. It just takes forever, like 2 or 3 hours. When I finished this I went to pick Ryanne up and we went to Walmart then I took her to her friend Amanda's for her b-day party. Aerial went to the movies with her boyfriend. So me and Dave did not have any kids. YEAH!!!!!!!!!
Our original plans were to go and see Max Allen play but I guess they actually were to play on Friday and the bassist was sick, so we had nothing to do. We called Matt and Liz and they were just sitting around playing games and drinking so we went over there and joined them. I love that Apples to Apples game, I've gotta get it for myself. We had a pretty good time laughing and playing games with them. The girls ended up staying with there friends. So me and Dave had the rest of the night to ourselves. **wink** **wink**
I overslept on Sunday, I was suppose to get up early and go down to Bloomington to visit my sister and see my great-nephew. So when I woke up I realized I had forgot to move my clock ahead an hour and it was actually an hour later than what it said. I immediately called my sister and she said that there was a change of plans. Her and my neice wanted to come to Indy to the Home and Patio or Garden show or whatever that is down there at the State Fair Grounds and they would come to my house and visit. So I was immediately up and cleaning my butt off which was a good thing cause my house needed a serious scrubbing. They actually got there around 5pm that evening and my house was spotless, well practically. So that was a nice ending to my weekend:

TGIF

I am glad it's Friday. This has been a really long work week for me.

My daughter did not get her job as I was hoping :(
I'll just keep my fingers crossed that it will happen soon enough. I might take her Saturday morning to get her learners permit but I seem to be putting that off. I think I'm afraid she'll actually want to drive, W/ ME IN THE CAR. Anyone that knows me, knows that this freaks me out. I don't like riding with new drivers nor teaching a kid to drive it's very nerve racking. I'll probably leave the teaching up to my husband. He has already worked with her quite a bit, but her turns are awful.

My baby is trying out for the high school cheerleading squad currently and this has been the topic of discussion at my house for the past week. "Are my jumps good enough?", "I wish I could do a layout.", "I don't want to make varsity, I'd rather cheer for jv or freshman" and on and on and on and on. Ok you get the point. This is all I've been hearing about out of her. I think I'll take her to the open gym tomorrow morning so she can practice. My house is pretty small and she has been practicing in the living room. So last night while me and hubby are watching "Survivor" (which we never miss) we can see her out the corner of our eyes doing toe touches and hurdlers and everything else jump wise not to mention you can hear it.

Let me see what else is going on..... OH YEAH, today is the official day I have handed my finances over to Hubby. Which he is extremely excited about. I can't believe how much he has already gotten them straightened out. WOW. I knew this was a good thing. I just spend, spend, spend. He is alot tighter with money. This truely worried me at first, but I bet we end up doing alot more than we've been able to do the past couple of years. Which makes it all worthwhile we should be able to do alot more shows now.
My weekend plans so far consist of a good old game of Texas Hold'em tonight and then tomorrow maybe take aerial for her learners permit, and ryanne to the gym, and tommorrow evening I think me and Dave may be going to see The Max Allen Band, we haven't seen him in awhile and he use to practice in our garage before he got big so that should be cool. Then on Sunday I get to go spend some time with my sister, my niece and the new baby, which the girls will go with me.
Ok now that I've vocalized it all (or at least wrote it) I'm gonna go.

They have just added The Wailers to the Hookahville line-up. I am so excited. I love to watch the wailers they are so much fun. YEAH
